1 – 8 – 15 – 22 May 7-9pmEssential Dog Care CourseSanctuary Premises1 May – Training and behaviour – The Essential things you need to know about your dog and how to train them. How to avoid common behavioural issues like fears and phobias and aggression. 8 May – Body language. Dogs communicate with us and other dogs using their body language… how to spot it and what it means and why a wagging tail does not mean the dog is happy or friendly. 15 May – Meeting your dogs needs. How to keep your dog happy and settled without indulgence. 22 May – Why dogs do what they do. What motivates your dog and are they being naughty or just being a dog?
1 June @ 10amSocialisation EventSanctuary PremisesAs part of our adoption scheme we are now offering a 2 hour session with Robin Bates, our animal behaviourist, for both you and your dog. We hope that that these sessions will give you an opportunity to address any issues you and your new companion may be encountering or indeed give you some ideas on nutrition, fun activities or anything else dog related!

9 June from 10amAntrim Festival Group Pet ShowAntrim Castle GardensJoin us and Antrim Festival Group for the much anticipated pet show which is part of the Festival in the Park event; alongside this year’s headline act, Johnny Brady is kids entertainment, craft stalls and refreshments. A great family day out!
15 June @ 3pmReunion WalkAntrim Castle GardensAn exciting get together with all our ex residents, join us for a stroll around the iconic Castle Gardens and then for some refreshments. A great chance to catch up with former residents and see how they are getting on in their forever homes
