Hooch has sadly had a number of homes in his life.
He’s a super little character who is understandably somewhat shut down by finding himself back in the sanctuary.
Although we don’t struggle with Hooch’s behavior in the sanctuary he very obviously struggles at times when in a home environment and this has resulted in aggression to people.
Very often dogs rise through the ladder of aggression because the lower level signs of aggression and/or stress are not listened to.
If we can predict when the incidents might occur we can develop a good management plan to prevent them.
More information will be given on Hooch’s behavior at a later stage in the process.
We can also include a chat with a behaviorist at the sanctuary pre adoption.
We would like a quiet and knowledgeable home for Hooch.
Hooch could possibly live with another dog pending successful meet and greets.
Hooch will need an adult only home.
