Noel

Noel
Male
3 Years
JRT Cross

Reason for surrender – Animal welfare officer involvement initially which led to voluntary sign over.
Noel was rehomed briefly where unfortunately he attacked another small dog.

With the above in mind we have had Noel assessed by a qualified animal behaviourist. They felt Noel could be safely rehomed as long as strict criteria is met.
– An experienced dog owner
– Someone capable of committing substantial time and training to behaviour modification.
– Happy to work with a behaviourist- the sanctuary will cover the cost of two behaviour visits, however it is likely the owner will have to cover the cost of further behaviour visits.

We feel that Noel has a lot of love (a complete snuggle bug) to give, he is very much a people dog and just adores hanging out with us in the office. He is very quiet despite all the hustle and bustle of the sanctuary.
For safety reasons it would be best if Noel was kept on a short lead and muzzled when in public.

Noel would be suited to living with children over the age of 13 years who have a sensible approach to dogs and are mindful of his behaviour training needs.
