Star

Star
Male
4 1/2 Months
Border Collie x (possibly Lurcher in the mix)

Star was surrendered by a breeder to rescue. Star probably hadn’t had much in the way of lead experience and so we’ve spent the last week or so introducing him slowly to walking on a harness/lead.

We are sure Star is a Collie x with big lanky legs so he may well have some sight hound type breed mixed in there also.

Breed experience will benefit your application.

We think by the time Star goes home he will have missed out on puppy classes but it would be of benefit to get little Star involved in some classes.

🐶Puppies can be hard work, remember this, it’s easy to see the cute ball of fluff or puppy dogs eyes and make a bad decision, (we call it puppy fever).
Star will obviously need someone with the time and experience to meet all of his training/socialisation needs.

Please meet the below criteria before you apply-

Discuss and agree with the other adults in the home that you wish to adopt a puppy, if often takes more than one persons effort to make things work.
Be in a position where Star would not be left alone for long periods of time. Puppy bladders are weak and toilet training is only possible when they get out to toilet regularly.
Any female dogs in your household will already be spayed. (Star will obviously not be old enough for neutering upon adoption).
