These guys arrived to the sanctuary after their Mum was picked up as a stray. Holly (Mum) spent some time at the pound and after remaining unclaimed was transferred to the Sanctuary where she had her pups.
Holly is the sweetest girl and a great Mum who has done a wonderful job with her pups – she will also be available for rehoming soon.
Puppies can be hard work, remember this, it’s easy to see the cute ball of fluff or puppy dog eyes and make the wrong decision, (we call it puppy fever).
The pups will obviously need someone with the time and experience to meet all of her training/socialisation needs.
Please meet the below criteria before you apply-
– Discuss and agree with the other adults in the home that you wish to adopt a puppy, if often takes more than one person’s effort to make things work. At the very least though you need to be in agreement about the idea of adoption and not be having that conversation after your application is made.
– Be in a position where the pups would not be left alone for long periods of time. Puppy bladders are weak, and toilet training is only possible when they get out to toilet regularly.
– Any female dogs in your household will already be neutered. (The pups will obviously not be old enough for neutering upon adoption)
– Be willing to attend puppy classes, there is evidence to suggest benefits to attending. The cost of attending the classes will be covered by your increased puppy adoption fee of £280. (Along with neutering, vaccs, microchipping and flea/worming)
If you are being invited for a meet you will likely receive a phone call within the next day or so. (Wed/Thurs)
We have an adoption date in mind around Feb 9th/10th.
We will need you to be available for meets fairly soon.
The pups could live with children of any age with a sensible approach to dogs
