Little Velvet was found as a stray, unfortunately soon after arrival she was diagnosed with ringworm so Velvet had to be isolated while treatment began.
Treatment of ringworm can take a little time so it was particularly sad for Velvet to have to be kept in an isolation cage.

Velvet is the sweetest little lady who would just flop in your arms, we knew as soon as treatment was over she would be snapped up.

Treatment finished and then came our routine vaccs and FIV/FELV test. Velvet came out FIV positive! This little lady is surely now due some luck!
We have decided to offer supported adoption for Velvet. She will need to live an indoor life either without other cats or with other cats also FIV positive.

Velvet could live with children with a sensible approach to cats.
