We have a variety of ways you can volunteer your time to helping the animals in our care:

• Dog Walking
• Kennel Cleaning
• Cattery Duties
• Reception
• Fundraising
• Charity Shop

All our volunteers must attend one of our inductions which are held throughout the year and will be advertised on our website, within reception or you can give us a call. After the general induction there will be an opportunity to come along for a further session which will connect directly to the role you wish to play.

In order to volunteer with us you must meet the following criteria:

• Be aged 18 years or over
• Be able to commit to volunteering on a regular basis as we are working towards a rota system for volunteers to help manage the workload here at the Sanctuary

Volunteering at the sanctuary is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something really special. For giving up your time we can promise you one thing, small pieces of your heart will remain with the many rescue animals you’ll work with and help. Our residents will be grateful for any time you have to spare – this goes a long way in improving the quality of life we can offer to them whilst in our care.
