Companion animals bring joy to our lives. They love us without reservation. And ask for nothing in return. Yet what happens if you are no longer there to care for them after your lifetime? By including a gift to us in your Will, you can make sure we’ll always be there to care for your companion – whenever and wherever they need us.

If you are a companion pet owner and wish to ensure they are cared for after your passing you can ask the Sanctuary to care for them and successfully rehome your pet. This can be done by speaking with your solicitor or an executor of your Will and including details in it. Alternatively you could contact us directly and we will retain this information for action upon your passing.

Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary receives no government funding, so it’s the incredible generosity of all our wonderful supporters that enables us to build a brighter future for our residents as we seek to secure them a Forever Home. Please consider leaving a gift to support us in your Will. Leaving a legacy does not mean leaving out loved ones. After providing for those who matter most to you, you can make a gift to the charity to fit your own personal circumstances. 

Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary concentrates its work on animal re-homing, education and relieving the suffering of unwanted animals. The charity year on year finds new homes for approximately 650 animals, mainly dogs and cats, saving them from possible destruction. Prior to re-homing, and on the successful completion of a home check, all animals are vaccinated, neutered, wormed, de-flead and micro-chipped. With a no kill policy, the Sanctuary provides a safe haven for all animals.

A gift in your Will ensure that we can continue to find homes for your loved companion or those animals cruelly treated, abandoned or who no longer have the loving home they deserve. If you wish to leave a gift in your will we recommend a clause is included in your Will which authorises your Trustees to carry out your wishes in a timely manner providing continuity of care for your pet. We will assist you with this and if you require more information please get in touch – your gift in your Will will make a world of difference.
