Lucy
Female
Yorkie
6 years old
Little Lucy is looking for a special new home. She is a loving, affectionate, quiet girl, who loves to sit on a lap, that’s her safe place, and play in a garden.
Lucy would benefit from a calm, loving new home where she wouldn’t be left on her own for long periods, she needs company.
Lucy is anxious, she’s scared of loud noises, sudden movements etc but is OK with road noise. She likes a settled routine.
Lucy can get anxious if she meets other dogs when out for walks and much prefers quiet areas to sniff about. She cannot be let off her lead, she has no recall, she would chase cats, birds etc. She needs to use a harness because a collar hurts her.
Lucy has a weakness of her front right leg, a birth defect as per the vet, and can only go on short walks but loves to chase a ball in the garden.
Lucy isn’t a fan of travelling in a motor home but with time and patience, she will settle travelling in a car.
Lucy would be best suited to a home with children aged 8 years old and above who can show a sensible approach to dogs.
Lucy may be able to live with another calm natured dog after successful meet and greets.
