Duke is a large, goofy Weimaraner who is looking for a highly experienced and special home.

Duke’s history does included a serous person directed bite, we have taken the situation extremely serious and consulted two qualified animal behaviourists to gain their professional opinion on whether we could safely rehomed Duke again. Both behaviourists agreed that rehoming could be considered provided strict conditions were met.

Since the incident , Duke has shown no further aggression. We have spent considerable time getting to know Duke and building up positive relationships.

 

Essential criteria-

 

A secure garden, well enclosed garden.

A quiet home with few visitors

No other animals

An adopter willing to commit considerable time to behaviour training

Willing to work with our behaviourist  pre and post adoption, while we will assist with cost there may well be some cost to you also.

Happy to buy in to all areas of our safety measures (muzzle and lead in public places).

 

We have spent many months getting to know Duke and found it to be very rewarding, Duke builds strong bonds with his handlers, we are hopeful that his future could be one where he has a good happy stable life away from kennels and in the warmth of a home.

We are open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1.30pm – 4.00pm.
