Martha
Martha
Female
1 – 2 years
DSH
Martha came into foster care after giving birth to her four beautiful babies in a stable. Barely more than a kitten herself at just over a year old, she devoted everything she had to raising her little family. She kept them safe, watched them grow, and gave them the very best start she could despite her difficult beginning.
Now that her babies have all been adopted,
our mission now is to find this incredibly special girl the forever home she has always deserved.
Over the last four months in foster care, we’ve watched her confidence grow beyond anything we could have hoped for. The scared little cat who once kept her distance has slowly realised that people can be kind, and she’s beginning to show her affectionate, gentle nature.
She now greets her foster family with the sweetest little head rubs, has started enjoying gentle strokes, and has recently discovered the joy of playing with toys. Watching her learn how to simply be a young cat has been simply amazing.
If there’s one guaranteed way to win Martha over… it’s food! She is an enormous foodie, and the quickest route to her heart is definitely through a packet of Whiskas or a licky-lick! 🥰
Martha will need a very special home. She is looking for a calm, quiet environment with no other cats, where someone is willing to let her settle at her own pace. She doesn’t need someone to expect instant affection; she needs someone who understands that trust is built one tiny step at a time.
We know Martha’s perfect person is out there. Someone who will see beyond her timid nature and recognise the incredible little companion she is becoming. After everything she has done for her babies, it’s finally Martha’s time to be someone’s baby. 🤍
