Milo
9 months
Collie
Male
Milo was surrendered due to a change in family circumstances.
Milo is a super boy who is full of all the energy you would expect from a Collie adolescent. He loves his toys and treats and being fussed on.
Milo can however get over stimulated very easily, certainly this is what we are seeing in kennels, this can lead to mouthy behaviour.
At just 9 months, Milo is still just finding his feet and learning how the world works and will need an adopter who is knowledgeable and committed to training.
He knows a few skills from his previous home such as sit, paw, high etc and has been introduced to scent work which he loves as it gets his brain working! It would be amazing if his eventual adopter could pick up on his scent work again. This can be a very useful tool to work Milos brain while staying in a calm state.
Milo enjoys his walks to be in quieter areas as he has begun to struggle with traffic. Any potential adopter will need to feel comfortable working on this with Milo.
Previous breed experience will be essential so please detail this on your application.
Milo will need to live in an adult only home where someone can commit to training.
Milo could live with another dog pending successful meet and greets.
Milo shares a good relationship with a female Beagle here and this certainly adds a lot of value to his timeout of kennels.
We will contact you if we are moving forward with your application.
