Reason For Surrender – Trucker was picked up as a stray and after remaining unclaimed at a local pound was transferred to the sanctuary.
Many of you will know that Trucker came into sanctuary care and after watching the little guy struggle on a hot day our vets advised BOAS surgery.
Fortunately our supporters were generous and BOAS surgery has now been completed.
Trucker will also need a dental but we will pay for this down the line.
Trucker is a fab little guy- sadly he was very shut down on arrival and nervous about the world around him. He is now starting to feel a little safer and coming out of his shell. He even broke into a little run the other day ha.
He likes all the fuss and pets from the ladies of the sanctuary.
We would like an adopter with some experience of similar breed types.
Adopters should be mindful that the breed type can be among the more expensive of small dogs to keep.
Trucker could live with children aged 8 + years.
Trucker may be able to live with another spayed female dog pending successful meet and greets.

We are open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1.30pm – 3.30pm.
