Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary are currently seeking to recruit a number of dynamic, enthusiastic and committed Trustees to join our Board.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a local Antrim charity that places animal welfare and well-being at the heart of everything it does.
Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary is governed by a Board of Directors who meet on a regular basis to provide strategic direction, oversee the work of the charity and support the staff to do their best work.
The Sanctuary has a proud history of animal re-homing, education and relieving the suffering and stress of animals. For nearly 35 years our Sanctuary has provided animal welfare and re-homing for companion animals.
We are looking for new Trustees to be involved in an engaging and decision-making role, putting our animals first.
We are looking for those who have proven experience in ;
- Financial / Accounting
- Company Governance
- Legal Matters
- Human Resource Management
- Animal Welfare
- IT and CRM Experience.
- Community Engagement
- Property / Facilities management.
- Social Media Marketing and Engagement.
- Social Media fundraising to include Website , TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc
- Fundraising General.

Hours: 2 hours per week Pay: As a trustee and volunteer you will receive no financial benefit from becoming a Trustee of the Charity.
This post will be initially for a 6 month co-option, preference will be given to those with the appropriate knowledge skills and experience in the above fields.
